Centralized Exchange

Launched in 2016, ACX was an Australian cryptocurrency exchange owned by the Hong Kong-based company Peak HK Limited. Headquartered in Victoria, the exchange facilitated the purchase of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, accepting deposits and withdrawals in Australian Dollars and cryptocurrency. ACX also offered Over the Counter (OTC) trading. ACX has been banned for life by the peak industry body while the financial intelligence regulator AUSTRAC has revoked the digital currency license used by the platform.
