BIPS (Bitcoin Internet Payment System) was a payment service provider, located in Denmark, that allowed users to accept online payments in bitcoin cryptocurrency. BIPS was a payment service for receiving and processing bitcoin payments, which allowed traders to buy and sell bitcoins and to accept payments in digital currency. In 2013 the service was hacked and more than 1,300 bitcoins were stolen. In 2014 the company was acquired by Coinify.
